Pair of rare Hallway Chairs Model No.403 by Finmar, designed by Alvar Aalto.
An early production of one of Aalto’s classic designs. A classic piece of Scandinavian modernism, the Hallway chair was originally made for the Paimio Sanitorium.
Featuring Bent black lacquered ply seating rests on the solid birch frame. The chairs bear the Finmar label to the undersides.
About the designer:
