An unusual and rare antique bamboo trinket box. With bamboo creating it's long cylindrical shape, the handle is made from a small piece of bamboo and opens the lid upwards.
The box is marked on either ends with a star and it is lined with red silk fabric which can be a protective material for jewellery or other valuable items.
As well as being used as a storage box, it's interesting design makes it also perfect for use as a decorative ornament.
