A rare rosewood and black leather dining set by Kristian Solmer Veder for Soren Willadsen.
The Modus dining set was designed by renowned Danish designer Kristian Vedel in 1961, an excellent example of mid-century Scandinavian craftsmanship. Manufactured by Soren Willadsen, a renowned Danish furniture maker. The set consists of a rectangular dining table and four dining tables. The table is crafted from Brazillian rosewood, showcasing a beautiful wood grain . The chairs are upholstered in their original black leather, adding character.

About the designer :
Krisitian Vedel was a key figure in the Scandinavian modern design movement. Trained as an architect at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, he brought an innovative approach to furniture design that combined simplicity, functionality, and organic forms. Vedel was particularly known for his use of natural materials and his deep focus on ergonomics, creating pieces that were as comfortable as they were visually striking. He earned international acclaim for his designs, including awards such as the Lunning price in 1962.
