£3,900.00

Stunning set of six 1957 high back 'Scandia' dining chairs designed by Hans Bratturd for Hove Møbler.

These gorgeous Norwegian chairs feature broadening backs comprised of laminated wood slats. They are raised by a chromed wire base with hairpin legs which allow for them to be stacked.

Their simplistic organic form echoes the shape of the body to provide comfort as well as elegant design.

The Scandia dining chairs are highly acclaimed, receiving a Gold medal at the International Arts and Crafts fair in Munich 1967, The Award for Design Excellence by the Norwegian Design Council 1967 and The Interior Innovation Award 2006 at the IMM Cologne fair.
