About The Designer :

 

Robert Heritage designed the "Hamilton" sideboard for Archie Shine, earning a prestigious Design Centre Award for the piece in 1958. Renowned as a leading figure in British design, Heritage collaborated extensively with Archie Shine, a cabinetmaking firm instrumental in introducing Scandinavian design influences to Britain during the late 1950s and 1960s. Much of Heritage’s work for Archie Shine was sold through the iconic furniture retailer Heals.
