A beautiful Liberty's London Japanese Carved Side Table, 1905.
This two tier fruitwood side table boasts heavily carved floral designs with carved sabre legs and in excellent antique condition.
It has a printed design number and a Japanese symbol underneath.
These tables were commissioned and imported from Japan by Liberty & Co. of London circa 1905 and were hand carved with mainly floral designs by Japanese fishermen to celebrate the exotic nature of far Eastern furniture design.
