1960s Danish Arne Vodder 'Ella' Armchair in Teakwood and Leather for Vamo
Extremely rare, this armchair features a black leather upholstered seat and back, which appear to float within the teakwood sculptural frame.
The back rest, with sits/floats within the frame, can be titled backwards according to your desired seating position.
About the Designer:
Arne Vodder was a leading light of what might be called the “second generation” of forward-thinking 20th-century Danish furniture designers — those who, following in the footsteps of Hans Wegner, Arne Jacobsen, Finn Juhl.
Vodder’s is best known for his simplistic design pieces composed of natural materials such as rosewood and teak, often inspired by the natural forms.
