1960s Set of 6 Erik Kirkegaard Dining Chairs inspired by Joan Miro

Extremely rare, these dining chairs feature Kirkegaard's iconic dark teakwood A frame.

Through this sculptural frame, the seating cushion and the back panelled cushion appear to float within the body of the frame.

With a unique hand embroidery detailing inspired by the art of Spanish painter Joan Miro, these chairs are a beautiful addition to any eclectic, artful interior.

About the designer:

Erik Kirkegaard is mostly known for his chair designs with minimalistic design.

One of his more dominant and recognisable design features was the use of an A frame in his dark stained teak chairs combined with glossy black leather upholstery and cow horn shaped armrests.
