Designer Poul Kjaerholm went through an ongoing attempt to combine the sublime with the absolutely necessary, which resulted in the exemplary Fritz Hansen PK80 Daybed.
This is one of Kjaerholm’s most sophisticated and iconic designs with striking appeal and comfort. Not surprisingly, the beautiful PK80 was purchased for the galleries of the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 2004, which recognised the daybed’s natural place in not only furniture history but also history of deign. The PK80 daybed has a leather seat and a frame made of satin brushed stainless steel.
