Mid 20th Century Sylvia Reed Chest of Drawers for Stag - SOLD

This pretty chest is part of the Fineline range designed by John and Sylvia Reid for British manufactures 'Stag Furniture' in 1959, and was retailed between the years 1960-1963.

The design was excitingly innovative for the period using ‘pin-stripe’ light birch veneers in combination with square profile handles and tubular legs in satin stainless steel.
This chest comprises of two short drawers set over two long, with the Stag makers table still in tact inside one of the drawers.
A great piece of British mid century modern design.
The piece is in good clean condition, some signs of usage expected with its age however they don't take away from the form or function of this lovely chest of drawers.
