Designed in the manner of Angelo Mangiarotti, this table features a conical base carved out of a sold piece of Carrara Italian marble.
Upon the base, lies a marble top that slots into the marble base. This table has been handmade in Italy using traditional methods, and has been attributed to Angelo Mangiarotti's original design.
About the designer:
Angelo Mangiarotti was an Italian architect and designer who focused his work on urban planning. He was very sensitive to the needs expressed by consumers. He worked for great manufacturers such as Cassina. Mangiarotti was a prolific designer who created iconic pieces such as the “Lesbo” lamp (1967), the “Saffo” lamp (1967), the “Eros” table (1971), the “Spirale” hanging lamp (1974) and the “Skipper” table (1980).
