Amazing Model T41 Table by Osvaldo Borsani for Tecno, 1957.

This Mid-Century Italian design consists of a gorgeous rosewood top and a black metal base, accentuated with brass detailing, from which four legs support the piece.

The table features a brilliant and unique adjustable design, activated by a lever under its top which drives the pump located in the central shaft and subsequently sets the desired height, allowing for its use as both a dining and coffee table.

About the Designer:

With his stylish and technically innovative furniture, Osvaldo Borsani helped change the face of Italian design in the 1950s and ’60s.

By 1953, when, along with his twin brother, Fulgenzio, Borsani opened the furniture company Tecno. His designs, often featuring adjustable position settings, have an aura of optimism and efficiency that still seems fresh and lively today.
