About the designer:

Born in 1904, Italian designer Romeo Rega is one of several 1970s-era designers that are associated with a combination of modernism and glamour in their furniture creations.

Rega’s furniture is characterized by geometric shapes and reduced forms.

His designs are almost always gilded, chromed, or brass-plated, which adds the allure and elegance that Rega is known for, to his clean-lined modernist pieces.

With many entertainment-focused pieces, such as coffee tables with display space and liquor cabinets, occasional tables, etageres, and decorative table lamps, Rega’s work is popular among lovers of Hollywood Regency and 1970s design.
